Cash Flows

The nature of some businesses is that Cash is critical. Some businesses will provide their customers with long periods of credit BUT may have to pay their suppliers, staff within 30 days. This causes a problem with the cash account and sometimes the Bank is unable to supply overdrafts.

We believe that any business whether they have a lot of cash or not ought to implement some level of cash management. Cash management could involve:

  • Credit control - ensuring that the customers pay in time
  • Supplier payments - negotiating longer periods of credit
  • Cash control - having a real time schedule of monies due in and out

By implementing these solutions, less reliance is made on the banks and will inevitably lead to a more profitable future. We can assist you in developing these systems so that you can manage them in-house.
